Promoting Governmental and Civil Society Partnership in Human Rights

Iraqi Al-Amal Association Concludes Training Workshop in Erbil on Administrative and Financial Procedures for Civil Society Organizations. As part of the project “Promoting Governmental and Civil Society Partnership in Human Rights”, the Iraqi Al-Amal Association organized a training workshop in Erbil, from 25 to 27 September 2025, with the participation of 22 partner organizations.
The workshop aimed to strengthen participants’ knowledge and skills in administrative and financial management, budget preparation, and financial reporting according to best practices.
The program included interactive sessions on, Fundamentals of financial management, contracting, and disbursement procedures, administrative processes for events, travel, and procurement, Preparation of budgets and annual financial reports in line with transparency standards.
The training concluded with practical exercises, group presentations, and a final evaluation, enhancing civil society organizations’ capacities to improve transparency, efficiency, and sound management.
This workshop is part of a series of activities implemented under the project to foster effective partnership between governmental institutions and civil society organizations, and to support the implementation of Iraq’s National Human Rights Action Plan
