The Iraqi AL-Amal Association holds a closing session in Kirkuk Governorate entitled “Safe Communities”

The Iraqi Al-Amal Association in Kirkuk Governorate held a closing session for the “Safe Communities” project, where the impact of initiatives implemented over the past 11 months was presented and evaluated. These initiatives were carried out by an organization and a volunteer team in five governorates: Kirkuk, Salah al-Din, Anbar, Mosul, and Baghdad.
The session highlighted the project’s results by listening to testimonials from attendees about the direct impact of the project on the beneficiaries, in cooperation with partner government agencies and local implementing organizations.
At the end of the session, attendees presented their recommendations and needs for the future, calling for increased local and international support and cooperation.
The project is implemented in partnership between the Al-Amal Association and the Dutch organization PAX.
