People’s Police Initiative in Kirkuk within the safe communities project

To enhance security awareness and strengthen cooperation between youth and law enforcement, Jisr to Kirkuk Team, in collaboration with Al-Amal Association and PAX Netherlands, and through voluntary efforts, organized training for 21 young men and women on police duties and community roles. The training aims to make them a link between the people and the police and to engage in social activities carried out by the police. The initiative also included designing 2,000 awareness brochures and producing 5 educational videos to inform citizens about police responsibilities and emergency hotlines
