Ehtiwa Initiative for the Families of Missing Victims in Salahaddin within the safe communities project

Ehtiwa Initiative for the Families of Missing Victims in Salahaddin) implemented in Salahaddin Governorate (Balad and Duluiah districts) during months: (November-December 2024). The initiative aimed to achieve transitional justice for the families of the missing and forcibly disappeared victims after the liberation operations through conducting surveys and evaluations for about 75 families, and distributing awareness brochures about the rights of the missing and the impact of enforced disappearance
a final conference was held on (December 3, 2024) with the participation of government representatives, civil society organizations, and activists, where the suffering of the families was discussed, and solutions were proposed to ensure their rights
